The Gillam-Grant Community Center offers a series of early childhood programs designed to provide your child with a warm, secure setting in which to continue their social, emotional, and intellectual growth.

Pre-School - Kindergarten Readiness Program
This 5 day a week program, appropriate for children 4 or 5 years old is a kindergarten readiness program held Monday thru Friday from 9:30 am-Noon, beginning in Sept. and running through June. The children will develop listening, fine motor, visual, and social skills through fun experiences. They will also have significant interaction with letters, numbers, and sight words to get them ready for kindergarten. This program includes music class, library time, introduction to Spanish and hand signing. Registrations are taken on a first come basis. The program works in conjunction with the BB School District Universal Pre-K Program.
Early Pre-School AFTERNOON PROGRAM!
This program, appropriate for 3 to 4 year olds, is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Children begin their learning experience in a playful yet structured environment. Children will experience letter, number and name recognition. Sharing and positive interactions with other youngsters will be enhanced. They will have fun with a music program, library time, and gym time. Begins in September and ends in May.
Busy Bees Toddler Playgroup
Appropriate for 2 to 3 year olds. This playgroup for toddlers offers children and parents the opportunity to interact with other toddlers and parents in a playful environment. Children learn to share, play and socialize with others. If interested, please request the Toddler Playgroup registration form. Runs in 12 week sessions.
