Grown Ups Night Out

February 16, 2018 – 7:00PM

An evening of endless laughs…featuring Defiant Monkey Improv and Stand Up Comedian Dan Viola.

Defiant Monkey Improv is a two-person improvisational group that creates on-the-spot theatre based on audience suggestions and participation, JUST like you’ve seen on the TV show Whose Line is It Anyway?  They are back to GGCC by popular demand!


Stand Up Comedian, Dan Viola draws on his background as a game show host, father, teacher, coach, and salesman to deliver a hilarious and


entertaining show.  Dan incorporates his myriad life experiences into smart, clean and razor sharp comedy that is as hysterical as it is impressive.

Santa’s Workshop 2017 (12/9)

A Neighborhood Christmas

December 9th ~ 9AM to 1PM

Everyone is welcome to join us for this community tradition.

  • 9AM to 11AM:  Breakfast
    Pancakes, Donuts, Muffins, Juice, Milk, and Coffee
  • 9:30AM: Pre-School Holiday Songs
    Sweet songs sung by the GG Pre-School. An adorable holiday tribute.
  • 9:45AM to Noon: Santa Visits
    Bring your Camera… Santa will be here for visits!
  • 10AM to Noon: Mr. Scribbles
    Mr. Scribbles has been creating cartoons from children’s scribbles for nearly seventeen years. Much like seeing pictures in clouds, characters are developed using the scribble lines. Sponsored by Go-Art.
  • 10:30AM: Christmas Bingo
  • 11:30AM: Cookie Decorating

Do you want to build a Snowman?

Add to the Neighborhood Christmas theme at Santa’s Workshop this year.

Come to Gillam Grant on December 8th from 5:30-7:30pm with your supplies in hand and put your frosty friend together. Hot Chocolate and snacks will be served. If you can’t make it that night, design at home and drop off your fully made snowman on Dec. 7 from 9am-6pm. The BEST entry will win a $50 Target gift card. Snowmen will be on display during Santa’s Workshop on Dec. 9th thru Dec. 14th. The winning entry will be announced at Noon on the 9th!

Snowmen must fit in a 3’ wide x 18” deep x 7’ tall space. They must be constructed of boxes that are covered with any kind of suitable material or paint. Make sure to stop by and see the community’s snowmen!

November Half Day Camps

Lego Half Day Camp  

Friday, Nov 17th from 11:45-3:30

Grades 1-6 Cost

Students will work together to create a winter scene to be on display at Gillam-Grant’s Santa’s Workshop event. Pizza lunch included in camp cost. Busing from school for registered students provided by BBCS. Class size is limited to 20. Students MUST register online @

Kid Zone is available until 6:00pm for an additional  $5.

Cost: $35M/$40NM

Harry Potter Themed Half Day Camp

Monday, Nov 27th from 11:45am – 3:30pm

Grades 1-6.

Experience the world of Harry Potter right in your own backyard! First swing by Diagon Alley for lunch and supplies needed for first year students. You will get to try butterbeer and other Harry Potter themed treats! You will be able to make your own wand, books, and pet! Next you get to go to  Hogwarts where you will attend classes that normal first year Hogwart students get to experience! Classes will include: Potions Class, Herbology, Astronomy, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and even Flying Lessons! Last you will stop by Honeydukes and load up on treats to take home before leaving for the day!

Kid Zone is available until 6:00pm for an additional $5.

Gillam Grant’s Kid Zone Program will be available after half day dismissal on 11/17 and 11/27. Busing from school for registered students provided by BBCS. Pack a lunch and join us for some Fall fun! Registration and payment required 24 hours in advance. Click HERE to download the Kid Zone Registration form. Drop off, mail, e-mail, or fax completed form to Gillam-Grant office.

Cost: $22 for first child and $17 for each additional sibling
